We are progressing through To Kill a Mockingbird. I was pleased with last week's discussions in all classes. Thank you for your thoughtful responses! This week in periods C, D & F we will begin to look at the symbols within the novel. Today's class will be a Mockingbird fanfare.
Homework consists of reading and theme notebook work.

Mon: Read Chapters 18&19 & answer questions
Tues: Define vocab on list #2 & use half the words in sentences or a paragraph
Wed: Read Chapters 20-23 How has Lee constructed the plot to reach this dramatic conclusion and come to class with the two most important turning points in the novel
Thurs: Complete 4th page of theme notebook
Fri: IR reading book due Wed, May 22nd *in class writing*
Period E
Mon: Read chapter 9 & answer questions
Tues: Vocabulary list #2 define & use half the words in sentences or a paragraph
Wed: Write a response to quotes out of context from chapter 11
Thurs: Complete 3rd page of theme notebook
Fri: Catch up on reading as needed in class writing Wed, May 22nd
