Here are the weekly agendas; please remember to look for the correct class.  We are all on a slightly different schedule.

4/8 Monday – Warm-up question about heritage; Review notes & answer questions

HW: Read Chapter 4, pp.32-41 & answer questions

 4/9 Tuesday – Truth vs. Rumor Class: Life & Boo Radley; Set up theme notebook

HW: Read Chapter 5, pp. 41-50 & answer questions

 4/10 Wednesday- Influences: Warm-up activity personal reflection & TKAMB; theme notebook jigsaw

HW: Thesis statement about assigned character and notes about him/her

 4/11 Thursday – In class essay on one character from TKAMB with focused analysis

HW: Read Chapter 6, pp.50-57 & complete one square of foursquare worksheet.

4/12 Friday – Share foursquare worksheets & complete several together to discuss the chapter

HW: SPRING BREAK; Independent Reading Books due Wednesday, 4/24

HW: Answer in at least five complete sentences.  How often are rumors a part of your life?  Do they have power?  Why or why not?  Do you believe what you hear from others?  What criteria do you use to judge whether what you hear is true or not?
 
4/9 Tuesday – Truth vs. Rumor Class: Life & Boo Radley & Begin Chapter 2
HW:  Complete reading Chapter Two, pp. 15-22 & answer reading questions
4/10 Wednesday- Class discussion re: teaching styles & Miss Caroline; Begin Chapter 3
HW: Read Chapter 3, pp. 22-32
4/11 Thursday-Chapter 3 discussion & Theme notebook entry
HW: Review notes for Quiz, Chapters 1-3
4/12 Friday – Quiz on Chapter 3, Possibly watch the movie for character study notes
HW: Print out current events article that matches a theme from TKAMB; submit Mon – will be used in class Wednesday 4/25
