Good Afternoon,
Everyone seemed a bit groggy today after the long weekend. There are many enthralling projects in flux at this moment.
Periods C & F: Short Story Unit final oral presentations begin one week from today. Students signed up for presentations dates, and I conferenced briefly with each student to clarify individual goals. Before presenting in front of the class, it would help tremendously to practice the presentation at home. We will also begin a bi-weekly grammar review and assessment this week and start reading Romeo and Juliet in class.
Period D: The Pearl presentations begin one week from today. We are beginning Romeo and Juliet in class this week, and please remember to read your Independent Reading Books. The IR books should be read two weeks from today, December 12th. Presentations will be the week before the Holiday break, beginning December 19th.
Period E: We will also begin a bi-weekly grammar review and assessment this week and start reading Romeo and Juliet in class. **Anyone who did not complete the short story unit assessment has an extension until this Monday, December 5th.**
