It was my pleasure to meet you all today. I really want to learn your names quickly so please help me by reminding me of your name until I know it. Also, please, please, please do NOT let me refer to you by the wrong name. Believe it or not, I have had students tell me more than halfway through the year that I have been using the wrong name or incorrectly pronouncing their name.
Remember that the only STUPID question is one that you do not ask me. It is going to be an amazing year!
